Your baby is about 5 inches long and weighs nearly 5 ounces—about the size of a turnip or pomegranate.

  • Heartbeat is stronger and can be heard with a Doppler
  • Tiny fingerprints are now unique
  • Fat stores (brown fat) are starting to build for warmth
  • Eyes are facing forward and may sense light through your belly

Your baby’s little heart is pumping about 25–30 quarts of blood each day now!
